Description As the Universal Design team, we aim to establish a streamlined Participant Recruitment process to facilitate various research testing initiatives within the team. This initiative intends to identify, engage, and onboard suitable participants, both internally and externally, ensuring diverse representation for research activities across projects.

Acceptance Criteria

• Aligned Requirements: Define participant criteria collaboratively within our team, serving as a foundation for a template for other teams.
• Accessible Pool: Revise/update the recruitment document to create an easy-to-use participant resource specifically tailored for UXR's needs. Link to the current document.
• Engaged Outreach: Successfully engage with diverse external platforms, integrating this effort into the recruitment document.
• Validated Suitability: Develop a consent form and additional privacy documents for the ethical screening of suitable participants. User Profile Consent Form
• Transparent Communication: Establish clear communication channels and iterate based on feedback to ensure ongoing improvement.

Epic Title: Enhancing UX Research Recruitment at Dev Launchers

Epic Description: This epic focuses on optimizing the recruitment process for UX research at Dev Launchers. The objective is to gain a deep understanding of both internal and external audiences, identify pain points in the recruitment process, and implement improvements to attract and retain participants.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Persona Research: Conduct interviews, focus groups, or surveys to gather insights into the motivations, pain points, and expectations of volunteers participating in UX research at Dev Launchers.
• Identify key characteristics and preferences of the target audience for recruitment.
• Template Development: Based on persona research findings, develop email and social media templates for recruitment to increase participant engagement.
• Ensure language in templates aligns with the preferences and motivations identified in the persona research.
• Screener Template: Create a template screener, possibly using Google Forms, to pre-qualify potential participants for UX research studies.
• Ensure the screener aligns with the persona characteristics and effectively filters suitable participants.
• Informed Consent Form Revision: Revise and update the informed consent form to enhance clarity and ensure alignment with the preferences and expectations identified in the persona research.
• Best Practices Sheet: Develop a comprehensive best practices sheet for recruitment, providing guidelines and recommendations for UX researchers to follow or refer to when conducting recruitment. Revise/update the recruitment document to create an easy-to-use participant resource specifically tailored for UXR's needs.
• Feedback Survey: Create a feedback survey for recruitment to gather insights from participants on their experience, identifying areas for improvement in the recruitment process.
