Constant gtalk chat about battery pecentage

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. put the nexus one on its dock
2. have gmail opened

What is the expected output?
should not bother

What do you see instead?
The chat is constantly opened by gtalk wich said the battery percentage

Additional informations:
GTalkSMS version =1.9.1 Yakoo
Android OS version = 2.2
Phone model = Nexus One

Should it just be posisble to tell gtalksms not to give me the batt percentage 
until I really ask him ?
Or a stop command like for the ring...

There is a setting for the battery notification interval: Preferences -> 
Notification settings -> Battery notification interval. You can also disable it 
completely, as gtalksms shows the battery status in the presence message.
