Added German Translation #340

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

You dropped the German translation because it was obviously not maintained
anymore. I now added it again, fixed some spelling errors and updated missing
strings. Would be glad to see it in the next release.

If you like the idea, I'd like to maintain the German translation from now on.

Since I am new to Google Code (I prefer Github), I don't know how to contribute
(like a pull request), so you could fetch my changes from

According to the previous change, I re-enabled the German language package in

I'm ok to readd it, especially if you can maintain it.
Concerning the contribution, can you generate a patch?

Thanks

By the way before doing the patch, there is still 2 string not translated
<string name="pref_con_xmppBlockedResourcePrefixes">TO TRANSLATE: Blocked
resources for notified addresses</string>
<string name="pref_con_xmppBlockedResourcePrefixes_help">TO TRANSLATE: Do not
notify addresses that use those resources when logged in. Use new line as
separator.</string>

Could you please describe, what this two messages should express? I don't want
to introduce misleading messages...

The resource is a token associated to the connection, for example with your
login "bob@whatever.com" GTalkSMS will log as "bob@whatever.com/GTalkSMS" and
gtalk on android will use "bob@whatever.com/android".

This option allows the filtering on those resources. So if your notified
address is "bob@whatever.com" and one of blocked resource is android, GTalk on
your phone will not be notified but GTalk on your desktop will be.

Thank you for explanation, never noticed this feature :)

You'll find the patch attached.

Any plans to move to Github for easier contribution?
