I would like to suggest that left-clicking the target icon in the token HUD still simply targets the token for the GM, and to target for other players (or other GM/Asst GMs), right-click the target icon for the list. For GMs who typically use the target icon to target tokens, the current method will be a lot of additional clicking (1 per target and/or detarget) over the course of a session), but changing to my suggestion eliminates that issue, and only requires the additional click when targeting for other people. I expect for most GMs, targeting for other players will only be an occasional thing, but targeting for themselves will be a common action.
