Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is flagging this app as Malware. It marks it as Android/PUP.Riskware

Also a really bad report via NVISO ApkScan rated as "confirmed malicious". Report available here

Unfortunately, root tools are a a gray area for virus scan software. See the response from Malwarebytes staff regarding another root tools here: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/170358-kinguser-kingroot/

The behaviors used by RootCloak, such as checking system areas of your device and changing how system calls operate, are often used by malicious software as well. That's why some of the virus scan software marks RootCloak as "HEUR" (heuristic) "PUP" (potentially unwanted program).
