"Starboard tack preferred to port tack" #11

A starboard tack is preferred to a port tack. Hull 13 does well downwind, but the wingsail actuating arm needs to be adjusted/modified to allow for closer (and more consistent) points of sail. Overall, I was impressed by the performance and speed of the wingsail design, especially when compared to the soft sails launched last summer, but we need to improve the hull's trimming performance.

is the issue mainly because of the zero point of the linkage arm? I think during testing, we noticed the zero point was off; in addition the trims may have been messed up on the R/C if under RC.

This may require no code changes - but would require change of the mainsail operating linkage.

As far as tacking is concerned, the hull just doesn't have enough speed to complete (most) tacks, at least today in light air. The hull slows and then gets pushed by the current into its new position. There were no observed issues when jibing, though
