One of the biggest things I struggled with when I got to Chattanooga that I was really excited about was finding out what kind of open source projects we have here in the city.

I ended up with one resource and that was Open Chattanooga http://openchattanooga.com/. Which as I understand it is city-sponsored (so what appeared to be wrapped in bureaucracy to get things done) and hasn't been the most active recently.

A page of common open sourced projects and any initiatives pushed by businesses with open sourced platforms would be awesome, does anyone know of any additional ones outside of Open Chattanooga to get the list started?

Thought: include the ability for members to have projects in their data file -- it'll show devanooga users in the relevant project.

Moving this back to the Backlog until we actually come up with content for it (as discussed during hack night, see #63).
