Why temperature attribute is not bound to coordinator? It could be the reason. Inconsistent time depends on the reporting configuration for your case.
How do I check my reporting config?
It's written on the screenshot. Not sure what orange marks mean, but 50/900|100 means min, max period in seconds and 1 unit of change to report. So the temperature will be reported only every 0.5 degrees of change. If the attribute is bound. I'm not familiar with ZHA interface
I have the same problem. The device stops sending data a few minutes after a reset. When it stops working apears the bluetooth symbol in the device. I have the same problem in two diferent thermometers
I have the same problem. The device stops sending data a few minutes after a reset. Version 1.4. Device hangs.
@kom101 please, update to the latest firmware via OTA, the default behavior is fixed for non-z2m installations
I have z2m and last version: 20231109 3001-1006 Second sensor work properly. I removed the battery for longer and will do another test.
Flashed 2 Xiaomi with latest version (as of today, 1.06)
On one I got some temperature and humidity readings the first time I connected it, but none after. More than 30 min have passed and nothing. The other seems to be reporting humidity, but no temperature. Both devices are withing 2m of the hub, so it should not be a connection issue.
.
After reseting HA and re-pairing both devices, I get a similar behavior. They update once or twice and then they stop.
Edit: both are using quality batteries with less than a week on. Both report 100% battery. If I restart HA values get updated but then one stops and the other is inconsistent (sometimes every 10 min, 5, 7..)
