Hello, Contributed additional functions to add/set/remove/get different kind of resources

Hi @juancherrera - sorry for the delay in this. Are you still happy to commit changes to this repo? If so, I'd like to get them merged in, but we might want to do it in smaller chunks/iterations as there are a whole load of changes here 😅.
