¿Should we allow Segwit format addresses in the new Devcoin 22.0.0?
I have no technical basis for this but sure? Why not.
EDIT: I was wondering too when I saw that you had allowed a lot of other BIP around segwit activation in the chainparameters file where segwit activation you moved to block 516000 that they were long long ago active but on the Bitcoin network. Are we going to need to do more than just add segwit before releasing this software to the world? I always thought besides the protocol the addresses and pubkey and things like P2SH and other segwit receiver addresses had to be in our code. So like those addresses like 3-pref (Native Segwit P2SH addreses) or 1dvc-etc (those long bech32 like addr on Bitcoin in the past for segwit alt-addresses).
just my laymans input.
Thanks for your feedback @satoshi0x! Let's make Segwit happen: #93
Yes. It will enable lightning payments and other goodies.
