Wondering about similar implementation for DoorDash/UberEATS #1

Hi there, I was wondering if you think it'd be possible to write a similar script that automatically adds food to a DoorDash or UE cart based on some user preferences.

I have a hard time figuring out what to eat a lot of the time and something like this would be helpful. It could take into account local offers, budget, dietary restrictions, etc.

I'd be interested in commissioning you to do this if you think it's possible and you're interested.

Hi, thanks for your comment! I think that it would definitely be possible to make something like this based on what I've done here. The logic would be more or less the same - come up with a prompt that gets you what you want, then set up Selenium to click through the relevant things. I did some very brief testing with Bing Chat and it looks like it will recommend you some choices for delivery if you ask, and even link directly to Doordash/UberEats/whatever, so all that would be needed is the Selenium part to just click thru, even the budget/restrictions stuff I imagine could be handled by Bing Chat or filters on the delivery site.

At the moment I'm not particularly interested in taking this up, especially because I imagine these delivery apps are working on their own solutions for this right now (if they're not, they're missing out!) and with OpenAI's GPTs feature releasing soon, which I think will enable stuff like this more readily. But, I'll let you know if that changes and I decide to pick it up!
