getDateFormat() must be public #1

New to Lumen and trying to use this. Getting following error in Lumen 5.7

Access level to Mpociot\Couchbase\Eloquent\Model::getDateFormat() must be public (as in class Illuminate\Database\Eloquent\Model)

"php": ">=7.1.3" "developermarshak/laravel-couchbase": "^0.4.0" "laravel/lumen-framework": "5.7.*"
