Any idea why the tiles come out black? #2

Any idea why the tiles might come out without any colour? Am I doing something wrong. I source tif image is coloured:

We'd really recommend using TileMill rather than this project - it's maintained, documented, and far less buggy.

I have a lot of tif to convert to mbtiles. Don't really want to manually open them in Tilemill add them and export to mbtiles. Do you know if Tilemill can run in headless mode or is scriptable?

@nickponline yes, see these docs for using tilemill to export from the command line: https://www.mapbox.com/tilemill/docs/manual/exporting/#exports_from_the_command_line
