Environment: Ubuntu LTS 10.04 on multi-cpu machine
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. repo sync
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Repo sync fails consistently with the message:
error: Exited sync due to gc errors
Please provide any additional information below.
Known workaround is to use 'repo sync -j 1'
It appears that repo v1.11.1 requires git version 1.7.2. Ubuntu LTS 10.04 uses
git version 1.7.1 by default. (10.04 is the version of Ubuntu required by
currently supported versions of Android.)
repo v1.10.4 does not show this behavior.
