Hello  from Grafana Labs

We have detected that your plugin might still be using AngularJS and recommend migrating it to React, so that it may continue to operate successfully in future versions of Grafana.

You can read more on why and how by visiting our documentation: https://grafana.com/docs/grafana/latest/developers/angular_deprecation/

You can reach out to us with any questions via slack: slack.grafana.com - channel #plugins or our plugin development community forum

Hi @itrambovetskyi,

I just wanted to reach out directly regarding the above.

Given the plugins dependency on Angular and that it has not been updated in a number of years, it is at risk of being deprecated and removed from the catalog.

Are there any plans to update this plugin or should we go ahead and deprecate? If you would prefer we deprecate, and there is any specific guidance you would like to offer current users, please let me know and we can include that in any deprecation message.

If we don't hear anything in the next 30 days we'll go ahead and assume that deprecation is appropriate.

Thanks again for your contribution to the Grafana plugin ecosystem, we greatly value the time and effort that folks have put in to make plugins such as yours.

Hi David,

Thanks a lot for reaching me. Now we are working with security updates in main libs. Part of them are updated. We are updating Kafka. And It takes all our resources. In any case Grafana is very useful tool for that application. You send bad news :( What the deadline from your side for that update?

Hi @geosk thanks for getting back to me! There is still time 😄

It's great to hear that you're working on updates. With regards to the react migration, if you can target this by May at the latest then we should be able to avoid disruption for users.

Knowing that your intent is to keep the plugin going is all we need for it to remain in the catalog at the moment.

If you have any questions or need help, come find us in slack or our forum (links above in the post from Timur).

Hi @geosk - just checking in - does May sound reasonable for migration?
