Research integration Gastby.js with CMS

To Do

Give 3 options combining Gatsby.js with a CMS with their pro's and con's

Requirements CMS

Need to upload blog articles
Need to upload projects (image && video && text)
Need to select and create categories to group projects with tags
Need to edit text

Outcome

The 3 options can be commented in this issue

Hi Daan,

For this, I will look at 3 CMS's. Sourcing from WordPress, Drupal, and Prismic Just because they were recommended on the Gatsby site. I left Netlify out because we are planning on hosting the site on your server right? I also left Contentful out as it is more focused on having content be ready for new features, of course, this is nice but not needed for what we need. As you told me "we only need the bare bones".

Pros

Quick to set up using Gatsby
Quinty used to be using Wordpress as far as I know, for her this would also be nice to use, as she is accustomed to it.

Cons

I am not familiar with it, so helping would take some time.

Prismic

Pro's

The interface is rather nice, and there are is a good source on Gatsby on how to implement it with the site

@RubenNijhuis I would suggest also looking into Netlify and Contentful, we can change hosting for the perfect fit. Personally, I use Contentful for my portfolio. Might be overkill but can be a good fit.

So a headless CMS would be ideal for future growth 💁‍♂️

Let me know your research on Drupal. Never heard of implementation with React. Goodluck!
