There are several checks we run to make sure that only international humanitarian flows are included in our analyses. One of them is Domestic response (TRUE/FASE) which checks whether the destination location is different to the donor country. This is already in the dataset. This is more changes for the GHA team to make when they download the dataset and reupload it.
Another check we could run in the form of a code list or filter is "External to country money" to the country check, which could run by replicating FTS boundaries. This would check the Boundary column in the FTS Precoded dataset against the FTS classification of incoming/internal/outgoing. I’d be interested to discuss with you how this would be possible to do as an additional FTS code list. This is an additional code list to run checks on. FTS provide a "new money" collum but we are not sure how they classify this - it might be new funds in the hum system, rather than what we want to coe wihich is new money to a country.
