I played through the entire game (incl. all optional stuff) and those are the only things that struck me as broken, all combat related.
Running Yaba Sanshiro 2.12.0 on Windows 10 1909.
These are my settings, but I replicated all issues with default settings too:
All of this occurs during combat.
There is a line of pixels running along the right side and the bottom.
If the camera is zoomed out enough (like right at the start of a battle) there'll be black borders on the sides.
How it should look, unless this person messed up their video:
The following 3 attacks display a screen filling image, but those images are messed up. There are other attacks doing something similar without issues. Not sure why those 3 are special.
Lv 1 Skill (Time Gate)
Lv 2 Skill (Life Tree)
The effect after that image seems slightly broken as well.

Here's a save in case anyone wants to test it (you'll need CD 2). Here are some instructions if you are unfamiliar with the game:
Load any save (they're all the same).
Leave the inn, then leave the town (south west).
Go to the location above or below, run into an enemy.
When the character in question takes her turn (all other skip theirs automatically), select the blue orb icon (one to the left), then switch between the various attacks with the shoulder buttons. All 3 attacks in question are at the bottom right of their respective pages. And yes, 2 of the 3 types of MP had some memory editing done.
The following skill is from a different character, and I kind of don't have a save to provide right now.
Sprites of characters are not visible, the little light effect of the staff is though.
