I have tried all sorts of bios to be able to run games properly, but so far every game I try to run it boots me automatically into the system settings or memory manager screens, it's only fixed when I have HLE bios enabled, but HLE bios emulation is very glitchy from experience (crashes and freezing happen quite often with it).

Having the same issue. Try rebooting with all pads set to "none", and then change the inputs back once the game loads. Seems to work, at least in Die Hard Arcade

can not reproduce this issue. can you reproduce version 1.9.0?

Can confirm this still happens in the latest version, however, @lowpursuit 's solution has helped.

I dunno what happened, now all I can get is the system menu regardless of the controller settings. And this is new, if I change the BIOS settings after initially starting the program, I keep getting “Can’t initialize Yabuse” errors until I close and reopen the program.

“Enable BIOS emulation” doesn’t work at all now, keep getting the above can’t initiate error

I will try the next version you release and report back, take care
