If you find a reliable way to programmatically get the page sizes feel free to reopen a pull request.

Alternatively, you could make a pull request to add a parameter to the command that can override the page size to a chosen value.

Looked now and this problem is no longer reproduced, maybe the img2pdf library has been updated.
