Currently when placing a new character on a drawing the frame field within the row defaults to the current frame.
A configurable option would enable greater workspace freedom. For example I have a template ddw with several frames each populated with various characters and I use the empty space as a sort of scratch pad. I would like the scratch pad drawing to be "persistent" across the frames - this being achieved by having the default frame value configurable to "null", resulting in new characters being visible across all frames.
e.g. the characters describing the toucan would, via default frame configuration, be "null" and thus visible across both frames as shown in the example images.
