What counts as an engine? #5

Just wondering why Java-based ones like Rhino and Nashorn are missing… might be too old and Nashorn a dead-end, but IMHO they still are valuable script engines.

I suppose they could be added, and disabled by default. At the moment I've been looking for actively developed ones to add, but I guess PRs for older ones would be okay too.
