Mysterious output device "DeviceName" #29

I'm seeing a generic output device. Does anyone else ever see that?

% ./SwitchAudioSource -a -t output
OWC USB-C Dock (output)
MacBook Pro Speakers (output)
DeviceName (output)

MacOS 10.15.7

I think this is a system-level issue and not something specific to switchaudio-osx
