On macbook M1 macos 14.1: SwitchAudioSource -a won't include available airplay devices even if they are shown in menu bar airplay destinations and audio outputs. However, when already connected to an airplay speaker, SwitchAudioSource -a shows everything correctly, till I run SwitchAudioSource -s to switch off from that airplay. Any ideas? thx!

The same for me. Also I can not switch to Airplay via cli:

SwitchAudioSource -s AirPlay

it fails

Same for me.

Running an AirPlay device, and doing SwitchAudioSource -a or SwitchAudioSource -c displays the Airplay Device (note: it display "AirPlay" not the name you gave it —fe: HomePod Living Area

However while running on MacBook Pro speakers and running SwitchAudioSource -a → it does not displays the AirPlay device.

Using SwitchAudioSource on internal output sources such as speakers to headphones, works fine. Hope this can be resolved. Good Luck!
