This is a copy pasta from https://github.com/romainl/Apprentice

Not sure how to generate the specific preview, please advice. :)

You can generate a preview by running the script color_table.sh inside the directory .tools.

What worries me about this theme are the missing attributes such as cursor and selection_foreground. Did you try the theme? Do the cursor and selection look like the vim colour scheme one?

Ended up basing the settings on this instead, which gave much better results and covers all values https://github.com/romainl/apprentice-colorschemes
