safe reboot almost everytime got error on first trie to reboot/shutdown

hw specs:

• mariko v2
• hwfly v2
• curent fw and atm + hek

this issue persist since v13.2.1 (did not tested former fws) and even is on v14.0.0. if you reboot or shutdown, no matter which one you do ,almost everytime it crashes in an error. (even if no game is loaded, nothing)

if you trie it again right away its working. would be nice if there will be a fix that it will work on first trie ;)

Hi there, i don't think it's a problem from the shutdown / reboot tool.

Please try a fresh clean install of atmosphere on your fat32 sd card. No custom content or old stuff!

@dezem i have two marikos here and both have same issue. its no issue from a clean install. since i never played a game or anthiny on the second one, this isa fresh mod on v14. and my first one was a fresh mod von v13.2.1...

I own chiped Erista, Lite, Mariko and Aula Switch. And no problems there, all four consoles on fw14.0 and reboot or shutdown with no error.

So i can't reproduce your problem.

You're using the NRO or NSP version? Is one working for you or both the same problem?

I have recompiled it with the latest libnx. Maybe it solves your problem.

Please could you try it, i attached all versions from the reboot/shutdown nro and nsp version.

I usually use the installed NSP Vesion of it from the "main menue". Will test the recompiled one in some minutes ;) thanks

@dezem this one runs better but still error if you trie to shutdown directly after start/logon (right away after triple A, lock menue) "The software has been shutdown due to an error" (this is translated from my language)

So I assume the problem is how I use it. Since I was testing all kind of different payloads and things with this thing I shutdown the system very fast after logon cause its loaded , its fine , or quick test of an app... there could be an timing issue of some process which is loading/still loading or can not be terminated, so maybe a check about this could solve this issue?

Any Debug Output what I could supply ?

after testing around a while i can say "the problem" still exist. its reproducable for me on direct shutdown after startup. and sometimes if you were in the hbmenue and shutdown afterwards. ;(

Could you try these versions. I added some delay before reboot/shutdown.

• uninstalled - installed this v2 [needed doing]
• does not work. device has to be rebootet after change version. [needed doing]
• tested it 5 times a row , usually error showed up then. [no error so far]
• tested hbmenue and start of an app, reboot [no error so far]
• tested fw 14.1.0

Update: must correct myself, error still exist but now very less than before. after deleting software on the software explorer and shutdown it occourd again ..

I think it's a slow bug of your sd card. So i added a sleep of 3 seconds, i hope it fix it for you.

If it still occours, test another SD card
