Can't Change Root Password #109

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. ssh root@<ip>, log in with root/UrukDroid
2. passwd root, enter new password
3. Password is apparently changed successfully.
4. Log out
4. ssh root@<ip>, new password does not work, but root/UrukDroid still does

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected to be able to log in with new root password.

Did previous version of UrukDroid did it right? Does it work on Archos
default OS correctly?

Have not used prior version of UrukDroid, no ability to SSH into Archos default 
OS.

What version of UrukDroid are you using? What version of Archos device?

1.6.2 on an Archos 43 Internet Tablet

Please provide any additional information below.
