What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set static IP under Wifi settings
2. save changes
3. Settings are forgotten a while later

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
to have the static IP permanent

Did previous version of UrukDroid did it right? Does it work on Archos
default OS correctly?

I dont know

What version of UrukDroid are you using? What version of Archos device?

You have forget your static IP after configuration. Anyway, you device must
associate some AP. Therefore, you can using sniffer tools to check you device
while it is authenticating with your router. Usually, your device would carried
out some system initialization thru' Internet, e.g. NTP setup. You can check
active connection on your router to find the device IP. Good luck.
