Power light flashes on and off almost each minute, when in standby mode

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Hit power button once, to enter standby mode.
2. Watch as the power led turns on and off almost each minute (acts randomly, 
imho), draining battery power.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Power light should stay off, when in standby mode, as per original Arcos fw. 
Turns on and off randomly, instead, draining battery power.

Did previous version of UrukDroid did it right? Does it work on Archos
default OS correctly?
If I remember correctly, this happened also in 1.0. Archos original fw works 
correctly.

What version of UrukDroid are you using? What version of Archos device?
UrukDroid 1.5.1 on Archos 101IT Gen8.

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm not familiar with the fw architecture, but in UD 1.0 this flashing 
powerlight issue happened when UD loop-rebooted randomly, so I'm guessing it 
might be related to gui reboots, or something similar, since the random reboots 
are almost gone on UD 1.5.1.

i dont know about you, really, but for me it does so in the original archos OS, 
just verryfied, but it might just be me, cause i got a lot of crap installed

I'm quite positive this is not intended. I put my tablet in standby 15 minutes 
ago. Almost a minute after I put it so, the standby light flashed on, and kept 
active for a whole 14 minutes or so, until I got tired up, and switched the 
thing back on. No app was running in background, but battery was drained by 5%, 
so I really guess this counts as an issue.
