This looks cool! Maybe I'm missing the point tho; but when I open this (FireFox, macOS) and hit "start broadcasting", it begins playing a random(?) song from my personal library; while my separate Spotify macOS application continues playing a different song in the background.

Weird! That's definitely not the idea :) Are you sure you're logged in with the same account? Normally spotify is pretty good at making sure that you're not playing from multiple devices with the same account...

Let me see if I can reproduce otherwise.
