Challenge Description

Searching the Ethereum blockchain for the details of transactions (transfers and mutating function calls) and state (historical values of variables) has been slow and painful, taking up to minutes to complete even a simple search.

dfuse Search makes building a high performance application easy. It sifts through the entire blockchain history in under a second, finds exactly the transactions matching your query, and outputs the data you need within a single stream. This is all done while automatically handling disconnections and reconnections and eliminating false positives — never missing a beat! dfuse also handles and navigates forks so you don’t have to.

In this challenge, we would like to see innovative Dapps built to utilize the unique capabilities of dfuse search.

Here are some ideas to get started with:

Submission Requirements

Submissions should be made formally through Gitcoin (linking to the submission Github PR/Repo), dfuse Search must be integrated in the Dapp. A working demo of the dapp must also be submitted. It must be hosted, and publicly accessible. There should be a demo video of the dapp.

Submission Deadline

11:59 pm UTC on Feb 12, 2020.

Judging Criteria

The project demo and source code will be evaluated by dfuse team members. The prize will be awarded to the individual/team that submits the dapp with the best user experience while respecting the challenge description.

Winner Announcement Date

Feb 19th, 2020

These users each claimed they can complete the work by 2 years ago. Please review their action plans below:

1) sanchaymittal has started work.

Will as per the requirements of the task. 2) anooppakki has started work.

I'll look into the most effective ways that a user might find it useful which can be done using the dfuse api. I'm looking into the API's that dfuse provides as of now. Once done, i'll look at the idea and then start designing the UI for the application to be not just function but also user-friendly 3) x5engine has started work.

Will as per the requirements of the task. 4) triplespeeder has started work.

I'm a bit late for the party, but let's see if i can finish my idea :)
