Error: XMode Inconsistency #11

I'm trying to get this working for the first time and having a couple of issues.

The first issue I'm having is that the main window isn't displaying all of the contents. It appears to be negatively affected by the scaling settings in the Windows display settings. I can get it to show all of the content by significantly pushing up the scaling percentage but this is not how I like to have it set. There's no grabber for expanding the window of the application so I can't make it any bigger.

The main issue I'm having is that when I press either Start CQ or Start S/P I get the following error:

XMode inconsistency, check FT8/FT4 settings

I have confirmed that JDTX is indeed in FT8 mode. Not sure what else to check to troubleshoot this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

The JTDX-Helper only works with the default character size settings of JTDX (see manual). The application size of Windows must be 100%. If so, all fields and buttons of the Helpers are visible.

The mode inconsistency happens if the lowest line of JTDX is no on the desktop, or covered by the windows bar. Set the windows bar for “automatic disappearing” or move it to the right of the desktop in vertical position.

Check all settings again the manual.

Thank you for the response.

I have not adjusted the character size settings of JTDX from the defaults, so that isn't the problem.

To reiterate, using 100% scaling on my desktop results in the application being too small. I have to push the scaling up to 150% to display the full window.

I have ensured that the full JTDX window is visible on the desktop and tried setting the taskbar to automatically hide but I still get the same error. Please advise further.

Hi,

It will only work with 100% of Windows application size! If the application is too small for your eyes, set a lower display resolution e.g. 1280x1024.
