Suddenly get HTTP 500 Internal Server Error #173

Without making any changes or modifications, the Dashboard now only returns HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. I can SSH to the Raspberry Pi, look at the contents of /var/www/html and I put the setup.php page back in place. Was able to access the Setup page and saved. Still fails to respond.

At this point is is best to wipe the /var/www/html folder, download again and start over?

After several tries to get the existing installation to work, I did simply delete the entire /var/www/html directory and started over. Still no idea why it stopped working, but re-install was successful.
