Though 'l'ogout from the Mail> menu acts like it is truly logging a user out, it only drops them back to the main shell level (ie in Lobby> or whatever). While this is an annoying bug, it's made more of a potential security issue and annoyance by the fact that the other nodes are notified that the user has logged out immediately when the failed logout takes place from the Mail> prompt.
