This is awkward because it's due to bad LaTeX, but may still be worth fixing.

Here is some code from the abstract of https://ar5iv.labs.arxiv.org/html/2309.05340: \operatorname*{cyc}\nolimits_{\ell} This is, of course, self-contradictory, but sadly Scientific Word generates such code. LaTeX prioritizes the \nolimits, whereas ar5iv currently prioritizes the asterisk. I suggest following LaTeX, to avoid discrepancy (I'm hardly the only author using Scientific Word).
