Using the link from https://www.mdpi.com/774132 that goes to https://code.earthengine.google.com/c5a2ce562c867e6a31216128ad159d96 gives an error.

Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience. We removed that collection and updated to v 1.1 using Landsat Collection 2. You can visit the Earth Engine catalog page for it at https://developers.google.com/earth-engine/datasets/catalog/UMT_Climate_IrrMapper_RF_v1_1, and use the code sample to access the data. Please let me know if I can be of further help. Cheers,

I should also mention that we have recently published an applications paper using V 1.2 of IrrMapper (https://www.nature.com/articles/s43247-023-01152-2), and will soon have that on Earth Engine catalog as well.

Thanks! Much appreciated. Side question about the update to using Landsat Collection 2, did you notice or see any impacts on the classification overall? Meaning any changes to accuracy or which pixels were classified as irrigated?

The update was not analyzed for accuracy. However we did a more thorough accuracy assessment for 1.2, see the supplement to the paper I linked above. I’m hoping to have that collection 1985-2023 on EE in the next week or so.
