There are often bodies of written work that don't have legible URLs, like books. For such cases, the link is nonsensical (it just points at the whole book).

One way we could make this more useful is to use the actual chunks within the book as citations: instead of providing the list of sources, we offer the chunks of text with reference to the book (page N, chapter X, etc.) This way, a reader can glimpse the context of a book and find it in their copy if they're interested.
