Different Inline XBRL formats have their own rules for embedding the instance and how that instance can be presented. There should be some way to enforce these rules. ESMA have released a conformance suite for ESEF that looks like a good starting point https://www.esma.europa.eu/press-news/esma-news/esma-publishes-esef-conformance-suite
