lockup on load of large file

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.open large torrent file
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
either using open file from withing transgui or opening from windows explorer
Transgui stops responding all together

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
transgui 1.1 on windows XP and also Ubuntu with latest wine same problem

Please provide any additional information below.

.torrent file is processed by transmission daemon. I run transmission 1.75 on 
slow
NMT device and it takes about 30 seconds to load attached .torrent file. In my
opinion it is not lockup.
And this is not transgui problem anyway.
