Compilation using FPC 2.4.2 and Lazarus 0.9.30

Currently transgui ftbfs with fpc-2.4.2 (both 0.9.28 and 0.9.30 versions of 
lazarus).
Currently the default fpc in Debian unstable is 2.4.2, so it's impossible for 
me to make a source package of transgui that builds. I tried some fiddling of 
my own with the source, and managed to make it build, but I instead introduced 
other problems :(
There's no freeze scheduled anytime soon, so there's no rush, but I'd love to 
have transgui 3.1 in Debian sooner rather than later. Also, for transgui to be 
included in Ubuntu natty+1, the ftbfs should probably be fixed within the next 
3-4 months.

Starting from r607, transgui uses FPC 2.4.2 and Lazarus 0.9.30 for compilation. 
Major issues are fixed, but the program was only barely tested and regressions 
can occur.
Please test and report any regressions here.
