How do remote to local path mappings work? #855

I don't quite get how they work. Can I provide local path when adding torrent, 
e.g. given mapping /remote/path=x:\ and I enter x:\upload\, it should convert 
it to /remote/path/upload, replacing windows path separators to unix one if 
necessary?
