Hi there,

Seeing this error in the logs when trying to use the homebridge-mylink plugin:

8/7/2020, 4:20:12 PM The requested platform "Somfy myLink" was not registered by any plugin. 8/7/2020, 4:20:12 PM Your config.json is requesting the platform "Somfy myLink" which has not been published by any installed plugins.

Any idea what the issue could be?

Same issue. Seems like he did not fix/address it in the 9/15/2020 update. Have to wait until its fixed to begin using.

So the HomebridgeMylink to MyLink connection is broken at the moment? As in I should hold off on purchasing a MyLink?

Just moved into a house and they have Somfy shades here...bought an IR blaster to do this but then realized it was radio -_- lol

The plugin is working fine for me. @nicklenko @gizbug are you sure you properly installed the plugin? Maybe try installing it via homebridge-config-ui-x to be certain it gets installed the right way.

Thank you for replying @dgreif. Even the shade of doubt fills me with hope in Homebridge land knowing how matter-of-factly the Homebridge scripts respond.

I just moved into this environment: https://i.imgur.com/cZulT8a.jpg

I see that the remote controller is this: https://www.somfysystems.com/en-us/products/1810633/telis-rts

But I'm having a hard time identifying the motor

It looks like the below with a cover but I'm not positive https://www.somfysystems.com/en-us/products/1870228/z-wave-module-for-curtain-motorization

@nicklenko Your config.json is requesting the platform "Somfy myLink" I'd be curious about what your physical setup + config looks like (scrub personal info) as it could be either causing that issue

@stephenjmcmahon The plugin definitely works if you have a shade compatible with myLink. It's not perfect, but I'm planning to take it over soon and make some improvements. Just haven't had a lot of free time recently.

@nicklenko @gizbug Any luck? If not, did you try installing the config-ui-x plugin first?

Thanks for the reply! I'm fairly certain it should work for me - the remote I have is radio and from what I've seen the radio signal not only has rotating/unique values but is also encrypted apparently which is where Homebridge has issues emulating it by itself and thus the need for the MyLink to be the middle man in the relay. So as long as the MyLink can emulate radio controls the same way the Somfy Radio Remote can then I should be good to go (which I believe it does)!

Just haven't gotten around to it because of the pricetag on the MyLink lol - bigger fish to fry when I moved in to this new place.

Looking forward to contributing!

Cheers
