new Makefile to automate repetitive tasks and automatically check code quality;
fix lint errors;
add external functions comments;
extended testing with 100% test coverage;
removed unreachable code on internal functions;
add Travis-CI configuration file;
rewrite README in MarkDown, add comments and CI badges (you may want to remove them or change them to point to your Travis-CI and Coverall accounts - if any).
