I came looking through current and past issues to see whether there was a way to disable the price detection logic, and found the following at the bottom of #1258
There is no option to disable the automatic price detection
There is really no visual cue for this logic, and I would love to see an actual button or link that flips between price detection mode and "normal" mode in the same way that there is a method to flip into/out of restock detection.
Exactly how it is best to be achieved is debatable - should it reset the response to null, so that the question is asked? Or should it reset both the response and the detection, therefore allowing for some significant changes on the source site? Probably the latter IMO.
