Authentication solution

• The XPI should be generated from your own actual install, because it should automatically come with the token required to access the API
• OR the plugin could lift the token as QR code off the settings page in the changedetection install

Problems

• Maybe the address you run your changedetection.io on is not reachable by the browser

I think such a browser extension could be built on top of a ChangeDetection API if one were available. Maybe a way to create (and revoke) API tokens from the settings page, and when pinged with a URL, and optional parameters such as CSS filter, AppRise settings, etc, it'll add that URL to the watch list. The extension would then simply need to be configured with the private ChangeDetection URL install and that API key.
