What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install O3D - Get box saying it is installed with no error messages
2. Close IE - Also logged out just in case
3. Select Sample - Get page saying you have to install O3D

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the sample to run. Instead I get a page saying install the O3D
plugin

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am running the latest (1.4.2?). I am running on XP Pro SP 3

What hardware are you using: graphics card type? motherboard type?
Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT. Dell Dimension 8400.

Please provide any additional information below.
I am also running Norton 360. I deactivated the Norton BHO just to make
sure it was not blocking. I have SlimBrowser as my default browser, but I
was running in IE 7.0.5730.11.

Do you have ActiveX controls disabled in your browser by any chance?

Do you have any other browsers installed (Chrome or Firefox) that you could
test it
with to see if it's an installation issue or something else?

Yes, I tested it with Chrome and it works in Chrome. Just not in IE
7.0.5730.11.
