Hello,
*) OK SO i need for this to open up the VM's screen in a new windows
You can click on the console tab and once connected, there is a "Detach" button
*) also possibly get it to show that machines public ip ...
Do you mean the guest VM's IP?
*) and it shows my mac's files etc how can i stop that

it shows everything on my HD i named it HARDRIVE and yea the VM's public ip
adress and it cant be mine as im going to use for minecraft servers most likely

When a VM is running you click on it, then click on the Guest Network Adapters
link in the Network section in the details pane. This will tell you the guest
network adapter's ip, but requires that virtualbox guest additions are
installed.
There is no way to turn off the file / folder browser. You can restrict it to
certain folders. Look in config.php for $browserRestrictFolders.

I'm pretty sure it is compatible with osx, but if it is not, you will get that
