Remote Desktop Server port link is null #644

I have just upgraded from 4.2.3b to 4.2.4 and it seems that phpVirtualBox no 
longer can resolve the local host address for the RDP link and console.

Instead of an usable link I get null:9000 in the connect dialog on the console. 
RDP works, I can enter the address manually, but the php script that should 
provide the address is broken.

I get the same behaviour regardless of using Firefox or IE, and the problem 
disappears when I go back to 4.2.3b.
