Describo is an AI-powered metadata editor and research tool that transforms your data into linked, discoverable insights. Describo creates metadata conforming to the RO Crate specification and provides tools for HASS and GLAM sector researchers to work with their data, including: creating custom vocabularies, generative AI for discovery, text extraction, named entity recognition and network visualisation.

I just wrote a newsletter about recent developments that provides a good overview of the product: https://github.com/orgs/describo/discussions/15. Hopefully this is useful in assessing it.

Rationale for the change

I think it complements the other tools on this list. That said, I'm not exactly sure which section of the list it fits into as it has capabilities that fit into Data Collection, Data Analysis, Data Extraction, Data Annotation and maybe Platforms. If you think Describo is worth including I'd be happy to take your suggestion on where it should go.
