it is slower when large amount of text is available

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. read multiple tamil emails with several threads.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The boxes are slowly converted to tamil. one line per one second. I need to 
wait for long time to see the whole bunch is getting translated

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HTC Desire HD
